We start with the little change...room service is now available! Which is because of the big change. Our bubble is now allowed to leave the hotel and move to a rehearsal room (where we are still safely at a distance from everyone else).

For the crew, the big change happened at midnight last night, when they left the hotel to load in the equipment. They returned to the hotel about 4am, and were back at the rehearsal room at 9.30 this morning. So if they had managed to cure their jetlag, I imagine their sleep patterns have sadly been messed up again.

Everyone was in very good spirits at the rehearsals. Top management tip for making everyone enjoy and look forward to rehearsals: lock them in their rooms for five days in advance. Tony Levin remarked that the playing was going remarkably well - and suspected that some people had actually been - practising.

We are currently waiting for our dinner and then...back to our rooms (which, I must point out, is no hardship whatsoever).
